How TalktoaDoc.org Works:

Step 1: Pre-Chat Questionnaire
First, you will fill out a pre-chat questionnaire that includes the topic of your question, any medications you are taking, and any current medical conditions that you may have. This information will be presented to the medical doctor you are chatting with so they can better answer your questions.
Step 2: Payment Information
You will be asked to enter your credit card information and your credit/debit card will be authorized but not charged.
Step 3: Ticket Number
You will be given a Ticket Number which will be used to verify your identity and that your credit/debit card has been authorized. This Ticket Number will also allow you to regain access to a medical doctor if you cannot get your questions answered right away.
Step 4: Select a Department and/or a Medical Doctor
You will be asked to select a department and/or a medical doctor. You have the option to select a specific department or "All Departments" which is for general questions that all medical doctors in all departments can answer. You will also be given the option of choosing a specific medical doctor to talk to or you can leave this blank and the next available medical doctor in that department will assist you.
Step 5: Begin Chat with Medical Doctor
The next available medical doctor in the department selected or the medical doctor chosen will bring you into a chat. For verification purposes, the medical doctor will ask you for your Ticket Number and birthdate.
Step 6: Ask Medical Doctor your Questions
You can ask the medical doctor any questions that you have. You will be able to chat using text, voice, and/or video.
Step 7: Ending Conversation
After your conversation is over, you will be charged per minute for each additional minute after your initial free minute.
