Computer Requirements

Q: Do I need a webcam and/or a microphone to be able to talk to a doctor?

A: No, you have the option of talking to a doctor using text(keyboard), voice(microphone), and/or video(webcam).

Payments/Charges

Q: How much does it cost to talk to a doctor?

A: The first minute is FREE and you will be charged $2.98 for each additional minute.

Insurance

Q: Do you all go through my insurance company?

A: No. We do not go through your insurance company and therefore we do not accept insurance.

Ticket Number

Q: Why was I given a Ticket Number?

A: The ticket number is used to verify your identity and allows you to gain access to talk to a doctor. If you cannot get access to a doctor right away, you can come back to the site within 24 hours and use your Ticket Number to regain access to another doctor. If 24 hours have passed, then you will be required to sign up for another Ticket Number.

Q: What happens if I forget my Ticket Number?

A: If you forget your ticket number, check the email account you listed when you signed up. Your ticket number was sent to this email account.

Q: What happens if my Ticket Number does not work?

A: If your Ticket Number does not work then you may have entered an incorrect Ticket Number, you have already talked with a doctor and would be required to sign up for a new one, or your Ticket Number was over 24 hours old and expired. If you feel like your Ticket Number should still be active please contact us.

Confidentiality

Q: Is my health information and credit card information protected?

A: Yes, your health information and credit card information is encrypted for your protection.

Q: Why do you ask for my Social Security Number?

A: We use your social security number to generate your unique patient identifier. This ensures that the doctor you talk to will be able to view any past visits you may have with us.

Q: Is my Social Secuirty Number protected?

A: Yes. Your social security number is immediately encrypted before it enters our database. We also do not allow your SSN to be seen by any doctor or administrator. Neither is it printed out in any reports.

Selecting a Department/Doctor

Q: Which Department should I select?

A: Choose "All Departments" for general questions that you think any doctor can answer. This will be the fastest way to get your question answered. Choose a specific department if you only want to talk to a doctor in that department.

Q: Do I have to choose a specific doctor?

A: No, you do not have to choose a specific doctor in the department that you select. Not selecting a specific doctor is the fastest way to get your question answered.

Talking to a Doctor

Q: How can I communicate with the doctor?

A: You can chat with the doctor using text(keyboard), voice(microphone), and/or video(webcam).

Q: What happens if technical problems occur during the conversation?

A: The doctor you talk with can correct the length of time in which you will be charged.

Refund Policy

Q: What is your refund policy?

A: If you do not think a charge is appropriate, you must follow the steps outlined in our Refund Policy within 10 days of your use of this site to request a refund.
